Process manufacturing combines raw ingredients, supplies, or ingredients with a specific formula or instructions to produce a completed object. Typically, goods are delivered in bulk and set for distribution. This process is found in nearly every industry, from foodstuffs to chemicals and plastics to pharmaceuticals.
The title of this particular term is very misleading. If I were running the world, I would rename this because, very confusingly, this is not when you are manufacturing a process.
