The role

  • We are looking for an Integrations Consultant with good business understanding and a strong interest in new technology. There are three main areas of responsibility:
  • Being the primary technical resource for prospective customers and supporting the sales managers with opportunities that involve integrations with third party applications
  • Actively driving and managing the development of new functionality in the product related to UK specific requirements, for example integrations with payment platforms
  • Implementing Xledger with new customers as part of the implementation team and delivering the technical elements of the project

You will be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users while establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales and implementation cycle. You will have a technical background and a good insight into how an ERP system works, either from a consulting or development background. You will be expected to understand what can and cannot be done in a programming environment and will be able to work with developers to create a usable solution. You could be working for the customer, the third party supplier or Xledger R&D in Oslo or the US, and will be in a unique position to influence the development of the company as we grow in the UK. The position reports to the Head of Product.

Main responsibilities

  • Defining and specifying integrations between Xledger and third-party applications as part of customer projects
  • Supervising the roll-out of integrations and configuring Xledger
  • Working with third-party providers to deliver integration projects
  • Identifying opportunities for ‘commercialising’ integrations and developing and presenting the associated business cases internally
  • Acting as a technical advisor within the sales process
  • Regularly communicating and maintaining technical relationships with third parties
  • Ongoing support for existing customers in conjunction with the support consultants
  • Providing product demonstrations and pilots
  • Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
  • Testing new releases
  • Technical focused input into marketing collateral and marketing campaigns

Desired qualifications and experience

  • Experience of integrating with business systems, for example cloud based ERP and CRM
  • Understanding of the scope of cloud technologies
  • XML Webservices, GraphQL, ETL techniques
  • Understanding of accounting principles, including double entry and reconciliation
  • Degree educated
