The role
As a consultant, you will join a team of experienced consultants and be responsible for working closely with project managers to successfully manage the implementation of Xledger software for our customers.
Main responsibilities
- You will acquire an in-depth knowledge of the Xledger software system during our comprehensive onboarding programme
- Delivering the implementation of Xledger software for new customers which will include customer-facing training sessions and workshops, providing guidance and expertise to help customers streamline their business processes
- Data migration and configuration within Xledger for customers
- Maintain current knowledge base following system upgrades and the release of new functionalities
- Assisting the support team with scheduled release testing
Essential qualifications and experience
- Full or part-qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CA, CIMA)
- Practical experience in one or more of the following business areas:
- Management and financial accounting
- Project management, project accounting, project billing
- Multi-currency reporting, multi-company accounting and consolidation
- Purchasing, stock accounting and ordering
- Implementation experience or the use of ERP systems such as Unit 4/Agresso, Microsoft, SAP, Sage, Netsuite, Oracle, and Xero either from a consultant or client perspective
- Strong IT skills to include Office 365 packages
- Full UK driving licence
Desired qualifications and experience
- Fully qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA)
- Experience of implementing ERP systems such as Unit4/Agresso, Microsoft, SAP, Sage 200, Netsuite and Oracle, whether as an external consultant or from the customer side
- Practical experience in all of the following business areas:
- Management and financial accounting
- Project management, project accounting, project billing
- Multi-currency reporting, multi-company accounting and consolidation
- Purchasing, stock accounting and ordering
- Strong understanding of basic business
