Procurement

Procurement is the act of obtaining a good or service. As in, you procure it.

Being a procurement specialist is more than just buying, however, and can involve negotiating, tracking down sellers for specific goods, comparing prices, giving presentations, overseeing delivery, managing purchase frequency, and more.

So while this is an easy term to remember, it might only be an easy job if you love buying things for someone else.
