Bristol-based company Xledger is celebrating a successful end to the year after being listed alongside major global competitors in a prominent market guide.

Xledger, a leading provider of cloud finance ERP systems, also has offices in Norway, Sweden and the US, servicing more than 10,000 customers in 60 countries.

The company sees its inclusion in Gartner’s Market Guide for Service-Centric Cloud ERP Solutions1 as just the first step towards achieving ambitious international growth targets over the next five years.

Mark Pullen, CEO at Xledger UK, said “It is an honor to be mentioned by Gartner in this Market Guide. We believe that this recognition validates Xledger as an innovator and strategic partner to thousands of ambitious companies in the digital business era.”

With plans to conquer the UK mid-market, offering a flexible cloud solution, recruitment efforts to hire software experts and developers in Bristol are already taking place – with the team growing from 12 to 25 people this year alone.

Originally launched in 2000 by software architect Jarle Sky, Xledger aims to bring the advantages of an ERP system based on subscription – and hosted entirely on the cloud – to mid-market businesses.

Endorsed by KPMG and PwC, Xledger manages financial and administrative processes, ranging from mobile workflow, to project accounting, and billing, delivering value to its customers in three primary areas: automation, insight, and scalability.

  • Xledger shortens the accounting cycle by fully or partly automating most processes, from hands-free bank reconciliation to ML-driven posting suggestions. Customers routinely save weeks of time and more in resources.
  • Xledger provides customers with market-leading BI tools so they can drill-down to the invoice level or drill-through multiple views for 360° understanding of any dataset. From inquiry to export, customers can manage the entire analytic process in one screen.
  • Xledger enables organizations to create new business units without cost, limit, or penalty. No matter how fast or far customers grow, Xledger’s multi-tenant architecture will support their ambitions.

“At Xledger, we believe two things: that genius is in the details, and that complex problems deserve simple answers,” stated Jarle Sky, Xledger Founder and Chief Architect. “Xledger Cloud ERP reflects both commitments. We are delighted that Gartner has recognized Xledger as part of the future of the service-centric cloud ERP market.”
