Thursday 6th October, 11.25am | Financial controls: Is your charity protected?
Here at Xledger, we have worked with charities across all sectors for many years, and understand how effective internal financial controls are essential. Especially, when meeting their legal duties of safeguarding assets and managing resources effectively. But what does this mean in practice? Our session, taking place at 11.25am in Stream D, will explore how technology can assist in retaining control of processes and ensuring maximum protection. We will also hear from Amanda Smith at Evelyn Partners, who will provide examples from charities they work with, the successes and pitfalls, and why the issue of financial controls is so topical right now.
Veronika Zalivska, Senior Solutions Consultant, Xledger
Amanda Smith, Director Risk Advisory, Evelyn Partners
